About

The Little Play Space Co-creation Box Campaign 2021-2022 is a fundraising project designed and organised by the Playright Children's Play Association. The Co-creation box promotes the creative thinking and making through the exploration of possibilities with very tiny loose parts between parents and children. Create your favourite little play space in nature together through the little four steps - Experience, Explore and Express and Share!

Dr. Chan Po Lin, Pauline

Fan Lok Yi

Ms Sam Lam

Ms Sam Lam is the Director of Business Development & Projects of Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC).

She has nearly 20 years of diverse working experience in external relations, media, brand building, curation, project management as well as research. She has led several projects by design thinking approach commissioned by the HKSAR Government on public service revitalization, as well as large-scale design activation, public engagement and placemaking projects.

Sam received her Juris Doctor from CUHK, MSc in International Relations from University of Bristol, MA in Visual Arts from HKBU, BA in Creative Media from CityU and a Postgraduate Diploma in Innovation and Design Thinking from Emeritus.

She is also a proud mother of a 5-year-old boy.

Dr. Chan Po Lin, Pauline

Dr. CHAN Po Lin, Pauline, is the Associate Head in Teaching and Learning of the Department of Early Childhood Education, The Education University of Hong Kong. She has been actively involved in ECE teacher training and professional development, so that they can become lifelong learners who make use of their knowledge and strengths in nurturing children. Dr. Chan also has her interest in children's learning adjustment, building children's happiness and free play, and has cooperated with Playright for many years to promote free play in universities, schools and communities. Hoping play could merge with different children's experience and is valued in families, schools and the society which makes Hong Kong a happy city.

Fan Lok Yi

Fan Lok Yi is fascinated by urban space, history and the environment. Currently the Senior Curator of Make A Difference Institute, Fan has curated numerous cultural and social innovative projects. In 2021, her book "The Abstract Playscapes of Hong Kong" was published, and she continues to share the stories of twentieth-century playground designs through the art project of "Our Abstract Playscapes".
